This video is about Hannahs Hope For any family that has ever faced infertility, loss or had their hearts desire for family delayed or denied - we understand. We get you - because we are you. Hannah’s Hope was conceived out of our own felt need for spiritual support, strategic prayer and community when our own families walked out our personal foster/ adoption stories in many different ways. Based on the Old Testament example of Hannah who so longed for a child that she went alone to the temple to “pour out her heart” to God about her desire for children. This is our signature spiritual wrap-around service that connects prayer warriors with families who are walking out foster/ adoptive or KinCare relationships. Teams are formed monthly, and the goal is to give the families a safe place to download, regroup and find much needed safe spaces to process through the challenges and victories that are inherent in the space of orphan care. Teams are usually together about 9 - 12 months - or a “season” as families, wait, welcome or transition with a child or children. We understand praying without ceasing for the blessing of children. And we also understand that sometimes you need to pray for help with managing the blessing. Enter - Hannah’s Hope. 1 Samuel 1;27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted me what I asked of him.
The Moses Movement
www.ignitehope.online The Moses Movement The first, clear example of adoption in the Bible is found in the second book in the Bible - Exodus. This Old Testament Prophet and Leader gave us the Mosaic Covenant and the Ten Commandments. Lesser Known is that his Life from Birth to Leader was a love letter about surrender, adoption, redemption and recognizing his own culture and calling. In Exodus chapter 1 and 2:1 - 10 - we see that Baby Moses has a huge calling on his life, and his biological mother goes to extremes to ensure his safety and ensure her faith and family in his life somehow. This is the first example of adoption - but also of a transcultural adoption! In The New Testament - Christ’s death on the cross ushers in a new era - an opportunity for all of us to be adopted into His family. Adoption, caring for the orphan and family are themes found throughout the Old and the New Testament. One thing we know for sure. Families are under attack. Children are being targeted. And the most vulnerable of these - the Modern Orphan - is often being attacked from the womb, just as the enemy attacked children in the book of exodus - so too does he attack children today. Within Ignite Hope - we believe that there is a reason that the enemy targets some children from the womb- and that is because the Modern Orphan has a kingdom Calling upon his or her life. The Moses Movement is Ignite Hope’s Global initiative offering strategic prayer, resourcing and encouragement for those on the frontlines of the War targeting the Modern Orphan here and abroad. Exodus 1 and 2 :1 - 10.
Christmas in India
Last Christmas 2017, after celebrating our first Gala and all that God did through your support, we raised over $30,000. Our biggest prayer for funding is monthly donors, we ask each of you to prayerfully consider if there may be others in your circle of influence who may have a heart for Jesus, Justice and Kids. We would be happy to sit down with anyone who is interested to share what God has given us to steward. The hardest thing we have had to face is when we are unable to accept new families for coaching and support because we do not have the capacity in funding. We believe that we are in a season of growth, and stand in awe of all God is doing on Ignite Hope’s behalf. One of the most special and humbling aspects of all God has done was to give us financial margin to adopt an orphanage - one of our Moses Movement partners, that serves the Modern Orphan in India. After compiling all the gifts given from the Gala we felt strongly that we needed to steward these gifts in the way that they were given - in hope and in joyful expectation of all God is doing. We decided to pay it forward by finding one of our global partners who had a Christmas need - gifts for the children that they serve. Bella (our eldest) decided to give away her birthday by inviting her friends to bring in their allowance or small toys and gifts to bless these children half a world away. On her birthday each guest chose a specific child from our Moses Database and then each child prayed specifically for the child they had chosen to bless. Each child at the party then put together a specific gift for their Indian friend, wrote a Christmas card to their specific child, and then we prayed as a group for God to use these gifts to bless these kids in big ways. The kids provided the gifts and Ignite Hope paid for the shipping to India. Although a surprise Southern snow storm, a brief halt in international shipping, and two major holidays tried to collude to keep Christmas Joy from reaching across the globe, please watch below to see what transpired when the children received their gifts from YOU! Thank you for supporting Ignite Hope -
